Privacy policy
Last updated: 24 June 2026
This Privacy policy describes how AD SCIENTIAM processes personal data collected via its corporate website adscientiam.com (the "Site"), in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act. It does not cover Ad Scientiam's applications and medical devices, which are subject to separate privacy policies.
Data controller and contact
The data controller is AD SCIENTIAM, whose registered office is located at 38 rue Dunois, 75647 Paris CEDEX 13, France.
For any question regarding this policy or to exercise your rights, you can contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) at privacy@adscientiam.com.
Protection of the site and its forms
To protect the Site and its forms against bots and fraudulent use, we use the "Friendly Captcha" service, provided by Friendly Captcha GmbH (Germany), which is privacy-friendly and GDPR-compliant.
For this purpose, the following categories of data may be processed:
- connection data: IP address in hashed form, HTTP request data;
- environment data: browser properties and device characteristics;
- interaction data: signals relating to keyboard and mouse usage;
- functional data: technical software metrics.
This data is retained for a maximum of 30 days. Ad Scientiam only receives anonymized, aggregated reports.
Legal basis: Ad Scientiam's legitimate interest in ensuring the security of the Site.
Contact and demonstration requests
When you complete a contact or demonstration request form, we collect the data needed to handle your request: name, email address, organization, specialty, phone number and the content of your message.
This data is used to respond to your request and, where applicable, as part of pre-contractual measures. It is processed using the Zendesk solution, provided by Zendesk, Inc. (United States); transfers outside the European Union are governed by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
This data is retained for a maximum of 3 years from our last contact.
Legal basis: the performance of pre-contractual measures and Ad Scientiam's legitimate interest in responding to the requests it receives.
Audience measurement
We use the "Countly" audience-measurement solution to understand how the Site is used and to improve the experience. The following data may be collected: approximate geolocation, events and interactions, device information, session duration, pages viewed and scroll depth.
This data is retained for 6 months and hosted in the United Kingdom. It remains anonymous and is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
Legal basis: your consent, collected via the cookie banner and revocable at any time.
Cookies
The Site sets audience-measurement cookies and trackers (Countly) only after your consent has been collected via the cookie banner. Cookies strictly necessary for the Site to function do not require consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner or your browser settings.
Recipients and transfers outside the European Union
Your data is only accessible to authorized Ad Scientiam staff and to our technical processors (Friendly Captcha, Zendesk, Countly and our host Vercel), acting on instructions and solely for the purposes described above.
Some of these providers are located outside the European Union (in particular in the United States and the United Kingdom). These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards: adequacy decision, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Security
Ad Scientiam implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, loss or disclosure.
Your rights
In accordance with applicable regulations, you have the following rights over your personal data:
- right of access and to a copy of your data;
- right to rectification;
- right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");
- right to restriction of processing;
- right to object;
- right to data portability;
- right to withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on it.
You can exercise these rights by writing to privacy@adscientiam.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL): https://www.cnil.fr.
